Gypsum pendant with f-pearl detail on a delicate silvered chain

Materials: gypsum node, glass pearl bead, stainless steel wire, silver-plated steel chain

One pearl bead is nestled in a gypsum node from the beaches of the Albert County gypsum silo. These gypsum nodes, soft and translucent white like alabaster, are formed by the tides. They’re all that is left of a once thriving gypsum industry.
